D.C. Motor requires Starter

                  D.C. Motor requires Starter 

D.C. Motor requires Starter because of following Mathematical Equation.
 
                      I = (V - Eb)  / R

Eb = back E.M.F.

R = resistance 

V = Supply Voltage 

I = Current of armature winding 

As the starting current is high. it may burnt the motor. To avoid these resistance is increased. But voltage supply is difficult to reduce Hence starter is required. This is main reason of Starter.
